STATION ACCOMMODATION

Like the camping idea, but don’t have the gear?

Our comfortable Station Accommodation has you covered. Our variety of accommodation options allows guests to have the experience of beiing on the road, without the need to pack a lot of gear. Just pull up and sleep peacefully. Cottage’s, glamping in bell tents, shearer’s quarters, or unpowered sites. We have a range of accommodations options for all tastes and budgets.

All bedded accommodation types require a minimum 2-night stay, excluding the unpowered campsites.

Wildflower cottage

Wildflower Cottage offers guests a comfortable night’s rest and a welcome respite from long days on the road, travelling Western Australia’s outback tracks and trails. Thoughtfully repurposed from one of the Station’s original Shearers Quarters, the cottage will suit guests who are organised for self-catering.  The cottage features a comfortable queen bed, all linen supplied, lounge chairs, a dining table and chairs, a small kitchenette with kettle and toaster, crockery, cutlery and basic cooking utensils. We’ve supplied a Gas BBQ and butane gas stove for cooking. Plus the cottage includes your own private fire pit where you can sit under a covered verandah and watch the sunset over the station.

Shared bathroom facilities are located just a short walk away from the cottage and a torch is provided to light the path at night.

Vera Van

Vera Van is a fully refurbished 1970 Viscount caravan suitable for two as a couple or twin share singles. Vera has two comfortable single beds all linen supplied as well as all cutlery, crockery, cooking pans and utensils. Vera has an outside BBQ, awning and camp chairs and small wood-fired fire pit for your own campfire. Lighting and refrigeration is supplied by solar power.  Shared bathroom facilities are a short walk from where Vera is nestled amongst the Mulga trees of the campground.

Family Bell Tent

Part of the Shearers Quarters area of the Station, the Family Bell Tent can sleep up to 4 people in a queen bed and two singles. The tent has access to the shared bathroom facilities a short walk from the tent, plus the use of the campground cookhouse facility that includes a fridge, gas stove BBQ, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Ideal for a couple or two parents and two children. Children are free when sharing with 2 adults. All linen supplied.

Available only during the months of August and September.

Twin Bell Tent

Part of the Shearers Quarters area of the Station, the Twin Bell Tent is a flexible option for guests who prefer their own space. It includes a two single beds and a 3rd can be added free of charge for a triple share. Guests have access to the shared bathroom facilities a short walk from the tent, plus the use of the campground cookhouse facility that includes a fridge, gas stove BBQ, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Ideal for catching the last of the wildflower season. All linen supplied.

Shearer’s Quarters

The original Shearer’s Quarters building is currently unrenovated. The single rooms are private and provide very basic shelter with single metal bed frames for 2 people. We provide the Shearers Quarter’s as a place to get out of the weather if you are swagging it. Guests must supply own bedding but are welcome to use the shared bathroom and cookhouse facilities.

Unpowered Sites

Unpowered camp sites include use of the shower and toilet facilities, located a short walk away. All guests are welcome to use the campground cookhouse facility that includes a fridge, gas stove BBQ, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Please note that although we love dogs, we are unable to allow dogs onto the property due to our land management policy and the safety of our stock.

$17.50/person/night

When availability permits, guests can arrange to dine with us in the Homestead at a cost of $60/person. Bookings can made online here
